Honorata riding through some big sky country north of the Jardine River on Cape York


30+ degrees most days for the 3 months on Cape York Peninsula (in winter), with night-time minimums rarely dropping below 20. Only hot and extremely hot. Curiously, we felt most comfortable when actually cycling, for the breeze we created aided in cooling us, we postulated between ourselves during one of our stimulating lunchtime analyses under the shade of tree.
