Honorata unfazed by resident people-eaters

We've lost count of the number of times we've seen this croc warning sign, and the number of times we've had to blatantly disregard its recommendation to not enter the water. It would be impossible for a cyclist to ride up Cape York Peninsula, especially on the most scenic route which comprises the Battlecamp Road, Frenchman's Track and Overland Telegraph Line, without semi-submersion in waters inhabited by saltwater crocodiles. The good news is that crocodiles seem to be more shy than people think, or maybe we were just lucky.....
