The tides on Cape York are monstrous. At low tide a solid 100m of sand would be visible extending out from the shoreline behind me.

This blog documents Jacob and Honorata's 2008/2009 bicycling journey around Australia. Jacob plans to cycle the full distance, unsupported, around the Australian continent all in the name of fun, while Honorata will be joining him for certain challenging sections such as Peregian Beach (near Brisbane, Australia) to "The Tip" of Cape York Peninsula.
